Natural environment 

Our Nursery is in a tranquil setting surrounded by open fields, woodlands and wildlife. We believe that this will inspire your child to explore, develop and express themselves in a stimulating, secure, and homely setting.  Learning has endless possibilities and we see all children as competent unique individuals with a natural curiosity to learn about the world around them. As an outdoor focused Petersfield Nursery we will give your child the freedom to enjoy the benefits of our rural setting. Your child will have access to green space, woodland, an edible garden area and animals including chickens, birds and sheep.

‘Something a little Different’

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to children’s learning our educators will act as mentors and guides, supporting the children to learn about the world around them through their own interests. Your child will be given the opportunity to control the direction of their learning, contributing to long term projects that will be developed over time. Our educators will help your child to grow in confidence and encourage them to share their ideas with others.

We believe the environment to be the third educator and have filled the space both inside and out with inspiring toys, materials and tools. In collaboration between the child, parents, carers and educators we will help your child to express themselves in this multisensory environment. Through this unique blend of educational approaches we enable the children in our care to flourish, develop a love of learning and ultimately have fun while fulfilling their own potential.
